An oval coffee table with two tray-top surfaces, its three legs with fluted surfaces and fitted with custom brass rosettes. Other finishes and custom sizes available.
History: Based on a 18th century table in the Musee de Camondo, Paris, made by the cabinet maker known as “Canabas”, the original had swiveling surfaces and was known as a “serviteur muet” (silent servant, literally) and was used next to a dining table to hold someone’s additional cutlery, etc.
