A very unusual Louis XV-style armchair with a single post elegantly joining the back and seat, inspired by the design of 18th Century master chairmaker Pierre Malbet.  Available COM in a paint or wood finish. 

An 18th century example of this design is in the collection of the Musee Carnavalet, Paris.
